INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb Shrimp (cleaned and deveined)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 3 sets burger buns
- 1 Sliced tomato
- 1/2 avocado
- 3 lettuce leaves
- 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
Spicy Mayo
- 3 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp dices pickled jalapeños
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Start off by adding your shrimp to a food processor. Add about half of them, and process those roughly about 5 pulses, remove them and add them to a bowl.
-
Now add the rest of the shrimp to the food processor and process those until smooth. Now add those to a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl and mix well.
-
Mow separate into 3 equal shrimp patties as best as you can. Place on a plate and place in the freezer for 15 min to chill.
-
Now slice up the rest of the veggies and preheat the loco griddle to sear mode. Once preheated, add the shrimp burgers!
-
Cook them 5 min per side or until they reach 145 internal temperature. Once you give the patties a flip. On the other side of the griddle, toast the buns at 300 degrees
-
Once toasted remove them and now let’s assemble, add the mayonnaise, lettuce, and the shrimp burger, followed by, tomato, red onion and avocado slices.
NOTES
I like to use an instant-read meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the meat.
