Blackstone Goetta Bacon Sliders are the perfect recipe for either breakfast or breakfast for dinner all made on the griddle!
EQUIPMENT
-
Blackstone Griddle
-
Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
INGREDIENTS
- 12 slices bacon
- 12 goetta slices (similar in size to slider bun)
- Cajun seasoning (optional)
- maple syrup, hot sauce
- 6 slices pepper jack cheese cut in half
- 1 package 12 slider buns or King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls sliced in half
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Preheat the Blackstone to medium low heat for several minutes. Place the bacon slices on the griddle and cook 5 to 7 minutes flipping a few times, remove and place on paper towels once the bacon is cooked how you prefer.
-
Place the goetta slices on the griddle over the grease from the bacon (still over medium low heat) and cook 7 to 8 minutes per side. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over top if desired.
-
When the goetta slices are cooked, drizzle some Maple syrup and hot sauce over each one then top each with a slice of bacon (I cut mine in half and crisscrossed the two half slices) and a half slice of pepper jack cheese.
-
While the cheese melts place the slider buns cut side down on the griddle for a minute to toast and warm them. Then place the goetta patties with bacon and cheese on the slider buns and serve.
Note: If you have a melting dome use it to help the cheese melt faster.
